Here I am, sitting on my discount furniture (what other kind is there to buy?), when I come across a comment I’ve never noticed on my other site. For some reason, even though the thing is set up to send me an email whenever a comment is made, it seldom does. (Of course, having said that, it immediately did!)

Anyway, this comment concerned one Andrew J Hiduke.
Andrew J Hiduke first turned up on my blog after someone went looking for him on Google, and Google picked up on a post I’d written about one Jim Hiduke, who was also known as Dr Grammar, because he had a site where he used to specialise in sorting out grammar for people. I discovered this via HitTail.com
I was a bit puzzled then as to who Andrew J might be, and said so in a later post. Which is where the comment then turned up – the one I didn’t discover until today. (The post was written back in March, 2007). The comment was from Andrew J’s son, David, and tells me that Andrew was the father of five children, a probation officer in Gary, Indiana (we all know where Gary, Indiana is, don’t we – if we’re a Music Man fan). He was 88 years old when the comment was written, and, like so many of his contemporaries, is living in Florida.
David continued by saying: He is the kindest most loving and Christian human being I have ever known and I am proud to be his son, David. Glad he now appears on your blog.
